The theme for the cafe is "Remembering Audre Lorde – Poet, Writer, Feminist, and Civil Right Activist." Author Marcel Emerson will serve as our host.
We seek the participation of exceptional authors who would like to showcase their work to a diverse audience. We ask that each author give a five (5) minute presentation discussing their work(s) and close with a brief reading or tribute to Lorde’s legacy. We also ask that each author remain until the end of all presentations to participate in a group question and answer session with attendees.
Completing this form DOES NOT mean automatic participation. Selected authors will be notified by April 15. Those selected will receive a special vendor rate to exhibit during the entire weekend if interested.
