Social events and parties are a very important part of DCBP. The following social events and parties are the official nightlife events. The events are planned and managed by the organization listed. If a social event or party is not listed on this page, it is not an official DC Black Pride event.

Saturday, May 25
2 p.m. - sunset		Tropical Heat Mega Beach Party Heron Shelter at Sandy Point Beach, Sandy Point State Park, 1100 East College Parkway, Annapolis, MD 21409 Music Free food Cash bar for all Dancers Hot body contest Note: Sandy Point is a dry beach attendees cannot bring any alcohol or any container thereof to the beach. This is enforceable by heavy fines or jail. Alcohol can only be obtained through our licensed bar operation. Maryland State Park charges everyone a $7 maintenance fee to access the beach.
