DC Black Pride 2010: The Legacy Lives!
Celebrating the 20 Anniversary of Pride in the
African American LGBTQ Community

DC Black Pride is pleased to announce the acceptance of Workshop Abstracts from the community for presentation during DC Black Pride 2010 at the Hamilton Crown Plaza Hotel on Saturday May 30, 2010 between 11 AM and 3 PM.  Each workshop will be fifty minutes in length. DC Black Pride is seeking presentations in the following areas:

•    Women’s Health
•    Men’s Health
•    Transgender Health
•    HIV/AIDS
•    Youth Issues
•    Homophobia
•    Spirituality
•    Mental Health
•    Racism
•    Politics
•    Environmental Justice
•    Personal Finance
•    Culture
•    Fitness
•    Wellness

Please submit a one page abstract with the following information:

1.    Title of workshop
2.    Names of the presenter(s)
3.    Brief description of the proposed workshop
4.    Brief bio of presenters (s)
5.    Contact information (address, email and telephone number(s)

All abstracts must be submitted via email or regular mail by March 15, 2010 to:

Please note that there will not be any compensation to presenters for workshops and all accepted abstracts submissions will be notified by April 1, 2010.
