Jimma Elliott-Stevens

Jimma Elliott-Stevens is currently an attorney and Director of Privacy and Civil Liberties.  She has worked in the gay and lesbian community for many years, and has assisted clients who faced civil and human rights violations.  Over the years, she has supported organizations such as Women in the Life and the Black Lesbian Support Group (BLSG).  She has attended DC Pride events for more than 10 years.  This is her second year as a member of the Board.

Jimma is a Washington, DC native.  She has a BS from the University of Maryland, and JD from the George Washington University Law School.  She has also successfully completed an intensive Human Rights Law Program at Oxford University in Oxford, England, with a special emphasis on the International and Domestic Rights of Children.
