As one of two founders of Octane, Everett Hamilton provides leadership and vision for sustaining one of the most successful and industry-lauded public relations firms in the District of Columbia. Everett has more than 20 years’ experience in public relations, communications and marketing consulting for DC Government, Federal Government, and private sector. His rich experience includes expertise in reaching marginalized groups: African Americans, Hispanics, men who have sex with men (MSM), low-income and low-literacy residents, youth, and seniors.
Everett is a trusted partner and collaborator across Washington, DC, having served as Chair of the Edgewood/Brookland Family Support Collaborative Board of Directors and Vice Chair of the DC Citywide Collaborative Council and as a member of the Washington, DC Convention and Tourism Corporation LGBT Marketing Committee. Everett is a former member of the Marriott Customer Diversity Advisory Board, the Metropolitan Washington Airports Commission and the DC Housing Finance Agency. Keen on collaboration with community, Everett infuses lessons learned into Octane’s philosophy and the language Octane uses to assist our clients reach and inspire their targets to positive action.
